I remember when I was first called to be a Children’s Minister. I was at church camp and Brother Sharon was our Jr. camp Evangelist for the children. I had only been in church for about two years. I stood in the back and as I watched the children receive the Holy Ghost my heart just melted. Suddenly I heard a voice whisper in my ear. “This is your calling!”
I have answered that call and I have been blessed to see children receive His Holy Spirit and be Baptized for twenty-nine plus years.
R.O.C.K. (Reaching Our Community’s Kids) was birthed and I have had the opportunity to not only have my own children grow up and be a part of this Ministry team; but several teenagers have gleaned and grown up in it as well. My team and I have traveled all over the North East. We’ve done Children’s Crusades, Carnivals, Prayer Revivals, Church Camps, Town Fairs, and we offer Teacher’s Trainings on different levels.
My love for children dates back to my childhood. To see a child saved blesses my heart beyond words!
