Kevin and Kathy Merriman base from Eastwood Pentecostal Church where they have been Children’s Pastors since 2000, first under Bishop Murrell Ewing and now under Pastor Lopez. They have been involved in Children’s Ministry for more than 30 years, actively evangelizing in local churches for Crusades, Revivals and VBS, as well as Kid’s Camps, Family Camps, and Kid’s Zones in Conferences. They also have many seminars for training Children’s Staff spanning almost every possible element and medium of Children’s Ministry.

They have had the honor of serving in His kingdom all across the US as well as overseas, having the benefit of a front row seat to watch Jesus fill hundreds of children with the Holy ghost! They serve with a passion and desire to avoid a repeat of Judges 2:10!

Marlon Miller

Local License

Marlon, Linda, and Laminda Miller are the Abundant Laughter ministry team based out of Abundant Life UPC of Gladewater and Calvary Christian Tabernacle of Longview and have been evangelizing for more than 10 years.

Marlon, a licensed minister of the United Pentecostal Church International, presents the Gospel with object lessons, clowning, and music. Marlon has taught Sunday School at Gladewater for a number of years primarily in the preteen and elementary ages classes. Marlon teaches classes on using illusions as object lessons, clowning in ministry, and finding your inspiration to minister.

Linda is a puppeteer and the team organizer. She has taught Sunday School in Gladewater for a number of years with a primary focus on the kindergarten class. Linda is a graduate of the Texas Bible College Excell program. Linda is the teams organizer and puppetry and props manager. She teaches classes on lighting and props for puppetry.

Laminda is the team worship and praise leader. She is a ventriloquist, puppeteer, and an accomplished artist. Laminda currently teaches a kindergarten Sunday school class in Longview. Laminda uses various characters to present lessons in a humorous and engaging way. She also uses inspirational painting set to music. Laminda, now a graduate of University of Texas Tyler, with a degree in fine arts, is an adjunct lecturer at Texas Bible College in the Christian Education Program. She is also currently seeking her Masters degree at Stephen F. Austin in Nacadoches. Laminda teaches ventriloquism, puppet character building, and art

Jeremy Mohl


Reverend and Sister Jeremy and Danielle Mohl moved to Williston, ND in 2002. He was approved for his local license and voted in as the Assistant Pastor in 2008, where he still serves today. Pastor Mohl was ordained by the ND UPC in 2011. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business in 2013 and completed his master’s degree in Executive Leadership in 2017 both from Liberty University. He has been instrumental in helping to organize outreaches and ministries within the church. Pastor Mohl also serves as the North Dakota District Children’s Ministries Director, Ministers’ Training Coordinator and as a Sectional Presbyter on the District Board.

Bro. Mohl is a part time children’s evangelist and has conducted Junior Camps and crusades in the United States and Canada, along with his wife Danielle and three children Izabell, Elizabeth and Jeremiah. Sister Mohl serves as the Sunday School Superintendent for Apostolic Lighthouse and serves on the district Children’s Ministry Committee. Their ministry consists of a variety of story telling and preaching on a children’s level that incorporate object lessons, gospel illusions, puppets, and action songs that work together to build a bridge to the alter call and create an atmosphere for our future leaders to seek the Holy Ghost. All of our lessons incorporate the fundamental doctrine of salvation including repentance, baptism in Jesus name and the in filling of the Holy Ghost.


David and Bobbi Morehead


We are highly passionate about working with kids of all ages! Our entire life revolves around working with students. David is madly in love with “Dr. Wife” Bobbi Ph.D. who shares his love for students and ministry. Dr. Morehead is the Superintendent of Covert Public Schools in Covert, Michigan. David is the promotions director for Michigan District Kidz and is a full-time evangelist traveling extensively doing camps, workshops, VBS and revival services.

Children’s Evangelist “EXTRAORDINAIRE” Rev. Mark Hopper has been the constant mentoring presence in the Morehead’s ministry.

Bro. David Morehead is a gifted communicator, motivator and preacher. He has a unique way of connecting to adults, youth and children all at the same time. He has traveled extensively the past 12 years training, teaching and preaching. Bro. Morehead preaches with anointing, teaches with enthusiasm and revival is his passion. – Our Pastor, Rev. Rev. David Morehead has been in children’s and youth ministry for 12 years with passion and energy that could only come from God. Bro. Morehead focuses on high-energy worship songs, interactive crafts with biblical applications, and unforgettable portrayals of the Word of God. 
His ministry to children is anointed and gifted. His props and methods are innovative and effective. The results are apparent as children weep in the presence of God during altar service. Dennis Ploch


     Rev. and Mrs. Dennis Ploch has been involved in Children’s Ministry for 40+ years.   Bro. Ploch plays a bumbling church handyman by the name of Bro. Goober!  Bro. Goober has been a part of the Ploch’s ministry from the beginning.  Although, Bro. Goober is not the sharpest tool in the shed, he has a pure heart and brings humor in his illustrated sermons, motion songs, object lessons   and   effectibles   (special   effects/parables.)     Bro.   Goober’s   captivating   antics   draw   the children’s   attention   and   help   them   receive   the   Bible   message   in   a   practical   way.   Go   to and search for Goober Stairs and this will give you an idea of one of  Bro. Goober antics!   In their ministry they have seen many children, teens and adults receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
     Bro. and Sis. Ploch has minister in 43 states, 4 foreign countries, 4 American Native Reservations at District Jr. Camps, Revivals and Teacher’s Training.  Presently Bro. Ploch is Children’s Pastor at The Pentecostal Church in Memphis, TN pastored by Rev. Bill Parkey.  He is an Ambassador with Ronald McDonald House and with St. Jude Hospital as an on call minister.  He is also serving the Tennessee   District   as   Sunday   School   Secretary   and   helps   coordinate   the   TN   District   Teacher Training Program  “IGINITE.”    Bro.  Ploch, Sis.  Ploch  and  Bro.  Goober  are  available  for  Camps, Revivals, and Children’s Ministry Training on a part time basis.
